I am firmly convinced that Here Ulrich would be an excellent Secretary-General due to their knowledge, social competence and its high acceptance in the DFB honorary and the main office, said Bettendorf on Friday the German Press Agency. The 60-year-old Bettendorf enters the presidential election on March 11 as a candidate of the amateurs. Ulrich has since May 2021 Commissioner General Secretary and thus successor of Friedrich Curtis. Its contract as the highest fundamental of the DFB headquarters was dissolved in the course of the withdrawal of Bandandschef Fritz Keller. Previously, the 52-year-old deputy had been of Curtis.
