The next video game Free-to-Play Star Wars: Hunters from Zynga and Lucasfilm Games has officially revealed new characters, maps and a new mode for the video game. This is added to the previously revealed details of last year. An official launch date for the title has not yet been announced, but it will be launched in Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, both iOS and Android, at some time later this year.
More specifically, Star Wars: Hunters has revealed two new “hunters” that players can have in their hands, Skora and Sprocket, when the game is launched. Skora is described as a “legendary cartel doctor” who helps heal the allies while wounding enemies. Sprocket, on the other hand, is described as a fan of hunters that joins the sand with the help of a group of droids to demonstrate its own value.
“Skora is a genius of chemistry”, the official blog of revelation states “now, chemistry is a very broad issue, so we analyze a little. Skora uses his diabolical intellect to design stimuli for allies and poisons for enemies. Skora’s personality is unpleasant for some, since you can never know what he really thinks. If he is laughing out laughing, it is a sign that he is planning a joke. He is exactly the kind of scum and villacy that you want on your team ».
«Sprocket is a child prodigy and an authentic technical genius,” adds the same blog. “He often compensates for his lack of strength with his fast thinking, his rapid reflections and the superior technology of him. He is also a passionate fan of Hunters of the Outer Rim, and his child’s enthusiasm can heat the hearts even of the hardest members of the audience. His super advanced droids and his armament are incomparable ».
As for the new maps, The Great Hunt is an escort map that requires hunters to transport a giant harpoon through Tatooine to Endor, while Dusty Ridge is located in Tatooine’s sand dunes, and is specifically for the Recently revealed game mode, Huttball. In Huttball, players try to get as many goals as possible against their opponents, which is easier said than doing it, since it is imminently dangerous to play.
As previously indicated, Star Wars: hunters will be launched, free of charge, in Nintendo Switch and for mobile devices, iOS and Android, at the end of this year. You can check all our previous coverage of the next STAR WARS video game here.
