Video game films remain a popular project within Hollywood. They are usually not very good, but often really successful! Netflix teaches on their way the popular series adaptation “The Witcher” and recently announced to work on a bioshock movie. Likewise time-honored gaming marks such as “Mortal Combat” (our film criticism) or “Resident Evil” (our film criticism) have lined lately with fresh films. Now the adventure series “Uncharted” started by Sony and PlayStation-Studio Naughty Dog is the focus, which is one of the most popular game series of all time.

In our film criticism you can read detailed, which has pleased us very well on the adventure film around Nathan Drake (Tom Holland), Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Ali) and Chloe Frazer (Sophia Ali) and what a conspicuous problem is at the blockbuster, that probably does not bother anyow. In this article, however, we do not want to rush on the cinematic qualities and the “cinema stimulus” of Uncharted, but on all the exciting surprises, Easter Eggs, Cameos and hints that loudly scream after a continuation. One of the best scenes from Uncharted is a nice built-in Cameo by Nolan North, the players, especially through his voice, is familiar with: Nolan North is the voice of the adventurer in the entire game series of uncharted. After Nate fell out of an airplane (the controversial scene from the trailer), landing Chloe and Nate on a tourist beach where Nolan enjoys the sun in a lounger. After hearing a conversation about the wild aircraft, he comments with that: “You will not believe me, but exactly the same thing happened to me.” A nice allusion for fans on the famous airplane scene from Uncharted 3, which was adapted impressively in the film. What we already come to the rather “hidden” or only indicated characters.

The hidden: camoes, hints and secrets

The great antagonist in the uncharted film, the stinky and dangerous moncada (Antonio Banderas) is a completely new figure that is convinced the rock party, the treasure, the Nate, Sully and Chloe hunt, would be his legitimate family. On the other hand, this is different with his right hand: the mercenary Braddock, played by Tati Gabrielle. Although it is also a figure rewritten for the film, but strongly influenced by Nadine Ross, which embodies together with Chloe the protagonist duo in the standalone game Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and has previously been established as a counterpartist of Nate.
