According to Sony, the cat adventure Stray now has an official release period. The title should come onto the market in summer 2022 for the PC, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 . Blue-twelve studios originally sought a release in October 2021. This originally had to be postponed to spring 2022, and now to the summer of 2022. There is currently no precise release date for the gloomy-looking third-person game with a cat. Stray was presented for the first time in 2020 as part of a PS5 show case event in addition to top titles such as Spider-Man: Miles Morales and has been eagerly awaited since then.
cat in Not-Night-City
With Stray, a third-person action adventure is to be launched in a dystopian cyberpunk setting in summer. In our preview, too, we have already emphasized that this is by no means a night-city collapse.
In the game, as a cat you have to roam through a city designed in this style, try to survive and find a way home. The game world is not inhabited by humans, but only by humanoid robots and other animals.
During the game, the cat is accompanied by a drone called B12, which is at your side in various situations and seems to play an important role in terms of story. At the time, Stray left a very positive impression.
Sony and the indie games
Of course, the question remains whether the indie title can actually meet the associated expectations next summer. It is far from the first indie production that receives a certain attention as part of the Playstation brand. An important example of the recent past would be Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
